1/ PRESENTATION

Automatic marking of dots and colour strips has been a speciality of AGICOM for many years.
They can be:
- colour strips or lines used for positioning.
- marking of colour strips on a piece in movement to identify areas indicated as deficient during a test.
AGICOM offers a vast range of equipment, with or without contact with the area to be marked.
2/ SYSTEMS WITHOUT CONTACT:
These are systems which function by projecting ink or paint.
They can make dots (supports are stationary) or strips (supports are moving)
AGICOM offers 2 systems:
- the PULVOMARK 4003: paint or ink jet , creating dots from 5 to 40 mm
- the REA JET 1 POINT: ink jet creating dots of 1 to 3 mm
2.1. PULVOMARK 4003

The PULVOMARK 4003 ensures the automatic marking of dots from 5 to 40 mm on stationary supports or strips 5 to 40 mm wide on moving supports.
It can use paint (for a maximum contrast and difficult surfaces) or ink (for a faster drying).
AGICOM has developed units ready to be integrated into automatic production lines, with the following advantages:
- high reliability print head, easily demountable for maintenance
- paint input system with cartridges ensuring a very quick change of cartridges, cutting the input of the compressed air
- paint level control
- a connected control set, depending on versions :
- electrovalve opening of the head
- terminal board ready to receive the electric supply (220V - 50 Hz) , the signal “start of marking”
- “paint level OK”, “valve close/open”
- can drive one or two marking heads

2.2. REA JET 1 POINT :
Definitions :
This is an automatic ink jet marking system with only one nozzle, enabling the marking of one colour dot(from 1 to 3mm) on most supports (porous or non-porous).
It can operate at high speed and is adapted to industrial contexts.
It is very easy to integrate in automatic production lines.
Modular conception facilitates integration and maintenance.

3/ CONTACT SYSTEMS
These systems are always composed of a pneumatic piston moving a print head to put in the area to be marked. The area to be marked must be perfectly clean in order to avoid contamination of the print head.
3.1. AUTO MARKER
This system is ideal because it uses auto inked dies with fast-drying ink and there is therefore no need to fill it with ink (liquid ink or cartridge). The automatic closing-up of the die prevents it from drying-up prematurely.

3.2. MINICODEUR
This equipment uses ribbed rubber characters. For dot marking, we suggest logotypes which represent the dot to be made. It uses cartridges pre-inked with a very fast-drying ink.
